Katie's Critters is a unique rescue/shelter as it is  currently run out of our home. The Birds are in my Dining Room, some in our Living Room, and the rest of the animals are in the Down Stairs portion of our house. WE DESPERATELY NEED A PERMANENT FACILITY FOR THESE ANIMALS. WE JUST RECENTLY LEARNED THAT MY YOUNGEST DAUGHTER IS ALLERGIC TO THE TIMOTHY HAY AND ALL THE BIRD DANDER IS AFFECTING OUR HEALTH. WE NEED A PERMANENT  RESCUE/SANCTUARY BUILDING FOR US TO CONTINUE THIS RESCUE. WE NEED OUR HOME BACK; AND THE ANIMALS NEED A PLACE TO CALL THEIR HOME. 
We are with these animals 24/7 and never get a break. It is mentally draining and physically exausting caring for all of these animals on our own. We NEED to find these animals new permanent loving homes and a Sanctuary setting for those with special needs. We are depending upon the publics help to keep this rescue going. Without your help we will be forced to close our door permanently!

 As you can see we have sacraficed a lot for these animal. With the Publics Help, Sponsorship, and Grants, we are HOPING and TRYING to open the FIRST EVER SMALL ANIMAL SHELTER/RESCUE AND ADOPTION CENTER ON LONG ISLAND!!  It is going to take a long time, but we know it will be well worth it!!  We NEED YOUR HELP to make that happen, SO LET'S ALL WORK TOGETHER FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
